CHX Privacy Policy

Last updated: 12 October 2026

We respect your privacy. This policy explains how CHX handles personal information when you visit our website, contact us or request a property offer.

Who we are

CHX is a trading name of CHX Asset Management Ltd, the controller responsible for your personal information.

Address: 24/25 The Shard London Bridge Street, London, England, SE1 9SG

Email: legal@chxwealth.com

Information we collect

We collect information you provide, including:

  • Your name, email address, phone number and relationship to the property.
  • Property address, details, availability and decision timing.
  • Uploaded photographs, listing links and information in your messages.
  • Your offer request, our assessment and related correspondence.

Our website also processes technical information, such as IP addresses, browser information and error logs, to operate securely.

We may review property information in listing links you provide and publicly available property listings to assess your request.

Please avoid uploading photographs containing people, identification documents, financial records or other unnecessary personal information. If you provide someone else’s details, make sure you are authorised to do so and share this policy with them.

How and why we use information

We use your information to:

  • Assess your property, prepare an offer and discuss an agreement: to take steps at your request before entering a contract with you.
  • Handle agent or company enquiries and general questions: for our legitimate interests in responding to enquiries and conducting business.
  • Maintain enquiry records and keep our website secure: for our legitimate interests in providing a reliable service, preventing misuse and resolving problems.
  • Meet legal requirements: where processing is necessary to comply with a legal obligation.

Providing information is voluntary, but we cannot assess your request without the required contact details, property information and photographs.

Requesting an offer does not subscribe you to marketing. Any optional marketing subscription will be separate, and you can withdraw consent at any time without affecting earlier lawful processing.

Property assessments and technology

We may use data analysis and AI-assisted tools to support property assessments. Our team reviews offer decisions; the offer-request process does not make decisions with legal or similarly significant effects solely through automated processing.

If you proceed with CHX, we will provide additional privacy information where needed for verification, contracting and ongoing services.

Who can access your information

Access is limited to authorised staff and service providers who need it for the purposes described above.

These include website hosting, database, file-storage and email providers. Our offer-request workflow uses Replit and Google Workspace, including Google Drive and Google Sheets.

We may also share information with professional advisers, regulators or authorities where necessary to obtain advice, meet legal requirements or protect legal rights.

We do not sell your personal information.

International processing

Some providers may process information outside the UK. Where this involves a restricted international transfer, we use an applicable UK adequacy arrangement or appropriate contractual safeguards, such as the UK International Data Transfer Agreement or UK Addendum.

Contact us for details of the safeguards applicable to your information or to request a copy.

How long we keep information

  • Requests that do not lead to an agreement: up to 12 months after our last meaningful contact.
  • Abandoned uploads not attached to a submitted request: deleted within 30 days.
  • Requests that lead to an agreement: relevant records become part of your customer file, with retention explained in the privacy information provided at that stage.

We may retain specific records longer where necessary to meet a legal obligation or handle a dispute. We delete or anonymise information when it is no longer needed. Backup copies are removed through the applicable backup lifecycle.

Cookies

We use essential cookies or similar technologies where needed to operate and secure the website.

Optional analytics or advertising technologies, if introduced, will be explained and require your consent before activation. You will be able to change your choice.

Your rights

Depending on the circumstances, you can ask us to access, correct, delete or restrict use of your information, or provide a portable copy.

You can object to processing based on legitimate interests and withdraw consent where we rely on it. You can always object to direct marketing.

Contact us using the details above to exercise your rights or raise a concern. We may need to verify your identity.

You can also complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint.

Changes to this policy

We will publish updates here and change the date above. We will bring significant changes to your attention where appropriate.
